Lead Generation (Event Coordinator)

Job description

The Lead Generation Associate works closely with the Lead Generation and Marketing team team to provide support for our EdTech conferences and sponsorship programs (50+ events annually) to ensure successful execution. This includes assisting with logistical planning of large multi-segment conferences as well as supporting smaller sponsorships and meetings. Looking for detailed-oriented and creative candidate with demonstrated ability to independently diagnose, anticipate and resolve program issues. Ability to organize several projects and tasks with multiple deadlines; Possess professional standards of conduct including a strong sense of ethics and confidentiality.


What you will do:


  • Accurately maintain conference/events calendar and adhere to detailed budgets process by tracking expenses for each event budget reconciliation

  • Coordination of conferences, including sponsorship requirements; internet access; booth/space set up; rental reservations, supplies ordering and packing/shipping of event materials

  • Data Entry of leads received from each event and these are added in timely manner to SalesForce

  • Travel to and support onsite execution of key events, including show load-in and load out

  • Work with team to schedule speakers, vendors, and participants

  • Create and analyze online conference evaluations and prepare post-event reports

  • Manage all of the conference photos and distribution with our internal/external teams

  • Maintain inventory of backdrops, print, computers and promotional items

What you will need:

  • Strong project management, customer service and relationship building skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication, able to deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific and varied audiences

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized, ensuring quality and consistent output, ensuring accurate information for internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to effectively solve problems, think creatively ,make decisions and take action, exercising independent judgment

  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and work independently with little guidance

  • Ability to adapt, multitask and prioritize competing deadlines in an extremely fast-paced and ever changing startup environment

  • Must possess strong customer service skills to provide consistent level of service and professional support for attendees in a timely manner

  • Excellent computer skills and Registration/Event Management software and database application

  • Knowledge of the event industry preferred
