Genius Plaza will be holding internships in multiple departments. These internships will be a valuable experience, with most of the time spent doing hands-on work side by side with our experienced teams.
What you will do:
Assist candidate recruitment and retention: Source, evaluate, and review potential candidates utilizing cold calls, job boards, social networking and internal database etc.
Assist in Interview process via phone/in person to assess skill set, work history, and salary requirements.
Attend recruitment events as needed
Coordinate interview calendar across multiple products and departments
Refresh job posts
Participates in developing department goals and objectives, and strategies for success
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
Updates company organization charts and the employee directory
Interest or experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition roles
Ability to function independently and stay focused without constant supervision
Technical/computer skills required
Has some experience with Benefits and Payroll administration
Must be a college student or recent graduate
Ability to work full-time in our office in Miami, FL office
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Interest in improving the educations of millions of students in underserved communities
