Educational Consultant (Sales)

Job description

Our team at Genius Plaza is quickly growing, and we are looking for motivated Teachers to join us and launch their career in Sales. Become an expert in the Genius Plaza education platform, and sit with teachers and school administrators to help them understand the value our services can offer, and close the sale before transitioning the account to Implementation.

What you will do:

  • Close complex deals involving schools, internal stakeholders, and occasionally outside entities, government agencies or third parties
  • Build a pipeline of customers and manage them through the sales process
  • Extensive field selling, customer meetings, sales pitches/demos, and followup
  • Leverage and partner with internal resources (business development, engineering, marketing, etc.) to execute on deals
  • Deliver on sales targets and quotas
  • Learn and understand every detail of our platform, products and processes
  • Manage pipeline, sales activity and ability to accurately forecast results

Requirements

What you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience as teacher/educator
  • Must be very motivated, driven, over-achiever, go-getter
  • Experience delivering demos/professional development to teachers and district administrators
  • Skills in face to face, group, online presentations 
  • Ability in handling sales calls, emails 
  • High level of communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Technical skills, ability to use and understand a complex web platform
  • Experience using a CRM to track sales, calls, leads and closed deals is preferred
