Salesforce Administrator

Job description

As a growing Education Tech company, Genius Plaza is building its Sales teams and adding a Salesforce Admin to join us. This role will help to build, streamline and manage our Salesforce accounts, implementation, technical and system configurations, and train our end users.

What you will do:

  • Gather information from project stakeholders, and work with multiple internal teams to establish and monitor projects related to Salesforce and other data systems
  • Drive the system configuration which meets security, architecture, and support requirements, all while satisfying business needs
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help create related materials for users as the application evolves
  • Identify creative, new opportunities to leverage Salesforce to better support business processes
  • Identify third party tools to supplement the Salesforce application as needed and improve experience
  • Train users on new processes and tools
  • Assist in other data/database projects and systems as needed


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • 3+ years Salesforce Administration experience
  • Experience in building new Salesforce application processes and functions
  • Strong understanding of CRMs and related industry tools
  • Expert level attention to detail and project management experience
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is beneficial
  • Salesforce certification or formal training preferred
