Sales Development Representative- Appointment Setter

Genius Plaza is a fast-growing Education Technology company, and we are expanding our Sales positions to aid in our growth. This role will reach out to schools, principals and administrators to build relationships and introduce them to the Genius Plaza platform.

Our goal is to ignite the genius in every child- your work will allow students from underserved populations to obtain an education they otherwise would not have access to.

What you will do:

  • Proactive email and phone outreach to cold and warm leads to build relationships and introduce them to our products
  • Follow up on warm leads to schedule product demos and trainings
  • Track activity in CRM to ensure accurate information and timely responses
  • High volume of phone and email outreach to prospective clients, and assisting in sales demos, negotiations and contract signings
  • Build relationships with principals, superintendents and school administration, let them know why Genius Plaza's mission is one worth backing


What you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills over the phone, in person and via email
  • Motivated personality and driven by incentives and sales goals
  • Some sales or customer service experience is helpful
  • Comfortable with high volume of calls and emails, both outbound and incoming
  • Software or Education sales experience is preferred
